About Animal Camp Jamaica
Animal Camp Jamaica (ACJ) is a summer teen travel and adventure program offered by the same owners of Cub Creek Science Camp, Lori and Scott Martin. The Martin's have been vacationing in Jamaica for more than 20 years and have fallen in love with the island's beauty, culture, and people. Seven Palms Villa is their private home while on the island and they own a private beach Jamaican Breeze, which is the site of their newest passion, the Bus Stop Mission.
What Makes Us Unique?
Our campers stay at our privately owned villa, Seven Palms Villa. Located in a family friendly neighborhood, the villa sits upon two-acres with fruit trees, flowering bushes, and a tennis court. Just a short walk from the villa is our beach, Cardiff Hall, to which we have a private membership and our priavtely owned beach Jamaican Breeze is a short drive away! The Villa boasts the amenities of many resorts with laundry service, air-conditioned rooms, televsion, and wi-fi. The camp experience also comes with the villa's two housekeepers who cook and prepare all meals and see to the camper's laundry and a personal driver who takles the group to all excursions. Animal Camp Jamaica's program is unique in its nature. We combine marine biology and conservation concepts, with cultural immersion, and adventure! It's important to us that all campers who join us for camp experience something new and exciting and learn along the way! Camp was designed to give teens interested in marine biology the opportunity to see some of our earth's sea creatures up-close. The island of Jamaica has so much to offer: beautiful scenery, an incredible history, and original foods! It would be hard to not share all of that with anyone who joins us! Check out the Program Details here.
We offer a 1 to 3 staff to camper ratio. All of our Counselors are lifeguard certified. They have all also worked for Cub Creek Science Camp before and were considered to be outstanding team members at our state-side camp. We also have 5 Jamaican staff members who help to ensure the health and safety of our campers.
We understand that teen travel programs are expensive, but our program is more economical than any other Caribbean summer program out there. Because we own our own property, we don't have to pay a middleman for services and we are able to pass the savings on to you. We also are friends with the owners of many of the facilities and programs who give us discounts and special privileges. For details on tuition click here.
