Which Option Should I Choose?

Any of the options work for us! But if you are wondering which would be best, consider the following:

CAMPER REGISTRATION / "Register/Login- Campwise"
* If you're worried about space in the session of your interest, choose the "Register/Login- Campwise" option under CAMPER REGISTRATION. This takes you to Campwise, our camper database, and you'll immediately be able to save your camper's space with a deposit.
* If you have the time, the "Register/Login- Campwise" is the best option so that you can get familiar with Campwise.

QUICK REGISTRATION/ "Start a Registration"
* If you are looking to quickly get started because you're short on time, choose the "Start a Registration" button under Quick Registration. This sends our office necessary information for us to start your camper's registration in Campwise.
* We do not suggest using QUICK REGISTRATION if you are concerned about the availability in the session of your interest. Instead, register directly in Campwise using the "Register/Login- Campwise" option under CAMPER REGISTRATION or call our office.
* If you are a Returning Family, you are welcome to choose this option to save time. Once we get your Quick Registration, we will sign your camper up for the sessions of your choice in Campwise. You can then log into Campwise and pay your deposit. We enter Quick Registrations immediately upon receiving them, so if you submitted it between 8 am and 5 pm (Monday- Friday), it should be in your Campwise account same day.
* If you are a New Family, when you submit this form , we will be planning to speak with you over the phone. Either when we call you or you call us, you we will complete your registration in Campwise with a deposit and walk you through next steps.

Please do not do both options. If you submit a Quick Registration, please do not then start a Registration in Campwise (New Families/Campers) or sign your child up for an ACJ session in Campwise (Returning Families). If you submit a Quick regsitration, then decide that you would like to do the full Registration on your own, please send us a follow up email.

Registration FAQs



What is included in the Cost of Camp?

Basic tuition costs include housing in villa, meals for each day of camp and access to all our activities. All of our campers have a 13 day travel experience where they climb Dunn's River Falls, visit the Craft and Produce market, tube down the Rio Bueno river, and do daily snorkeling! To read the complete program, read all the information in "Camp Activities". When you register for Animal Camp Jamaica, tuition covers our amazing camp experience, but it also includes stay at our private, spacious villa with air-conditioning, in-suite bathrooms, meals and access to 24-hour fruit/snacks, laundry service and a pool. For those who selected our round-trip airfare, that is added in the cost of tuition, and includes full chaperone supervision for the entirety of the trip. This includes our team booking the trip. handling all travel planning and possible travel changes, re-booking for cancellations/changes, and round-trip shuttle to and from the villa upon arrival/depature.

Can I reserve a space without paying a deposit?

No. In order to hold a space for anyone a deposit is required. If you submit a "Quick Registration", a space is not held until payment of the deposit has been made. In Campwise, you will notice that a camper is "enrolled" before the deposit is paid. If your camper is "enrolled" status, their space is not being reserved/held.

I need to change sessions- how do I do that ?

To switch your session, you can call, or email to let us know where we can move your camper's registration. You are not able to move a camper's week on your own in Campwise. When you email, please give your full name and your camper's full name along with the session they are currently in and the week you are hoping to move to. If you leave us a voicemail, let us know the same information and we will send you an email confirmation letting you know when it is done. If you would prefer a call back instead of an email, please indicate that in your email or voicemail.

Do I pay for camp all up front?

No! All that is needed to get a Registration locked in place is a $100 deposit. Payment for Registrations are due April 1. You can make payments leading up to camp in whatever method works best for you. You can set up automatic payments through Campwise, you can call in periodically to make payments, you can send in checks, or you can choose to make one final payment on April 1st.

Are there other costs besides tuition?

Yes, but these are dependent on the camp experience that you are choosing for your child.
*Transportation: All campers have the option to either fly with our group on our round-trip airfare or a family can book and schedule their own flights. For those who are flying with us , flight costs are all included in the tuition! You can read more about airfare here. If you are planning your camper's fligt, there is an additional cost of $150 for their shuttle fees. This covers their transportation to/from the villa and the Montego Bay airport.
*Trip Day and Add Ons: Each camper has the ability add more to their trip! These are *optional* and does not influence, change, or alter our standard program (see FAQ: What is included in tuition). Add ons are based on an individual camper's personal interests. Read more about Add Ons and Trip Day here.
*Pocket Money: Campers have a spending account in Jamaica. If you are familiar with Cub Creek's camp store, it is simlilar to that! Campers will have spending money on account with us and they are able to buy souvenirs, personal snacks/treats, etc. The amount is up to you and is also *optional*- all program entrance fees and meals are covered by tuition. If you choose, the average is between $100 and $150 for the trip.

What is a "Deposit"?

In order to hold a space in camp, a deposit of $500 is required. All deposits are non-refundable. All deposits are non-transferrable to another camper or to another summer. I'm having trouble logging into Campwise.

If you experience any issues with logging into Campwise, please call us! 573-458-2125 Please do not make a second or different account for your camper if you know you already have a log in. We are not able to see your password, but we can reset your existing account to allow you access again. We are able to help with other issues you may run into including uploading documents, viewing multiple campers, etc. If you are having those issues, give us a call!

How do I cancel my Registration?

To cancel your camper's registration, you will need to call the office. Please be aware of camp's cancellation policy.
